TesovTech is a tech review platform built to support a YouTube channel and turn its audience into a sustainable affiliate revenue stream. The creator reviews desk setups, PCs, cameras, and peripherals — real hands-on usage, no paid placements, no ads. The challenge was to build a website that does more than list gear: a platform that connects video content, written reviews, and affiliate product recommendations into one system that monetizes traffic and scales as the channel grows.
The core of the build is a custom product card post type. Every piece of gear the creator uses — from a camera to a cable tray — is a reusable product card with its own affiliate link, description, and category. These cards are the atomic unit of the site: created once, then connected to relevant blog posts and pulled in automatically as related products wherever they’re contextually appropriate. Write a review of a desk setup, and the relevant table top, monitor arm, and cable tray cards surface alongside it — each one affiliate-linked. This architecture means the affiliate layer scales with the content instead of requiring manual link insertion on every page.
The homepage is structured around the gear itself — organized by category (desk setup, video gear, peripherals, audio, PC), each item a clickable affiliate card. A dedicated process section explains the creator’s review methodology — hands-on usage, real alternatives, clear pros and cons — which builds the trust that affiliate conversion depends on. Brands tested, an FAQ addressing the monetization model transparently, and a partnership inquiry flow complete the structure.
The site also monetizes directly through a digital product giving the creator a revenue stream they fully own alongside affiliate commissions. A review request flow lets brands reach out for partnerships, with clear terms stated up front: no paid reviews, no guaranteed positive coverage.
The platform is built on WordPress with Bricks Builder and a custom Core Framework CSS architecture — fast, scalable, and fully manageable by the creator. New gear, new reviews, new product cards, new brand partnerships — all added without developer involvement. Performance and SEO are built in from the ground up so reviews rank and product cards stay fast under traffic from YouTube.
